The MSP430F67451IPZ is a high-performance 25MHz 16-bit polyphase energy metering microcontroller manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI). Part of the MSP430F674x1 family, this ultra-low-power mixed-signal SoC integrates precision analog measurement, digital processing, and communication peripherals for three-phase electricity meters, smart energy monitoring, and industrial power measurement systems. The Texas Instruments MSP430F67451IPZ features a 25MHz MSP430 CPUXv2 processor, 128KB Flash program memory, and 16KB SRAM. Operating from a 1.8V to 3.6V supply voltage, it integrates four independent 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs for precision energy measurement, along with a 10-bit 200ksps ADC for auxiliary analog sensing. The device provides up to 62 GPIO pins in its 100-pin package. Designed for advanced energy metering applications, the MSP430F67451 supports voltage and current measurement using current transformers, Rogowski coils, or shunt resistors. Integrated peripherals include an LCD controller, real-time clock, AES-128 encryption engine, 32-bit hardware multiplier, four 16-bit timers, and configurable UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces. Ultra-low-power operating modes help reduce energy consumption in metering and monitoring equipment. The MSP430F67451IPZ is supplied in a 100-pin LQFP (PZ) surface-mount package with a 14 × 14mm nominal body size and 0.50mm pin pitch. It operates over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The device has an MSL 3 moisture sensitivity classification and is supplied in 90-piece JEDEC tray packaging.
