| Description | The AD7791BRMZ is a low-power, high-resolution 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter designed for precision measurement applications. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.25V and integrates a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with selectable gains up to 128, allowing accurate measurement of low-level signals. The device supports output data rates up to 120 Hz with effective resolution up to 23 bits and input-referred noise as low as 40 nV RMS. It features differential input channels, a SPI-compatible serial interface, and low power consumption of approximately 380 µA in active mode and less than 1 µA in standby mode. The ADC offers excellent linearity with ±0.0015% typical INL and includes internal clocking and digital filtering. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C, and the compact MSOP-10 package makes it suitable for weigh scales, pressure measurement, industrial instrumentation, and sensor interface applications. |
