| Description | The WS2812B-2020-V6 is a compact, individually addressable RGB LED that integrates a control IC and RGB chip into a very small 2.0 × 2.0 mm SMD package. It operates with a supply voltage of approximately 3.5 V to 5.3 V and uses a single-wire serial communication protocol, allowing multiple LEDs to be cascaded and controlled using minimal microcontroller pins. Each LED supports 24-bit color depth (8 bits per channel), enabling over 16 million colors with precise brightness control. The device includes internal signal reshaping and amplification circuitry to ensure reliable data transmission across long LED chains. Compared to standard 5050 versions, the 2020 package offers a much smaller footprint, making it ideal for high-density LED designs, wearables, compact displays, and miniaturized lighting applications. It also features constant current driving for uniform brightness and high refresh rates for smooth animations. |
