| Description | The EAST1616RGBA8 is a compact RGB SMD LED from Everlight Electronics in a 1.6 × 1.6 mm (1616) package, designed for high-density indicator and backlighting applications. It emits red (≈624 nm), green (≈525 nm), and blue (≈468 nm) light with typical forward voltages of 2.05 V (red) and 3.2 V (green/blue) at 20 mA. Typical luminous intensity values are around 106 mcd (red), 212 mcd (green), and 67 mcd (blue), with a wide viewing angle of 120° for uniform light output.
Mechanically, the device features a low-profile SMD package (approx. 1.6 × 1.6 mm footprint, ~0.35–0.45 mm height) with a diffused lens and 6-pad configuration, enabling precise color control and reliable PCB mounting. It supports reflow soldering and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for compact consumer electronics, indicators, and display backlighting applications. |
