The W7500P is a microcontroller developed by WIZnet, integrating an ARM Cortex-M0 processor with a hardwired TCP/IP stack and Ethernet PHY, making it particularly suitable for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Key Features:
  • Processor: ARM Cortex-M0 core operating at up to 48 MHz.
  • Memory:
    • Flash: 128 KB for program storage.
    • SRAM: 48 KB, with a minimum of 16 KB available for user applications when the full 32 KB socket buffer is utilized.
    • Boot ROM: 6 KB for boot code.
  • Networking:
    • Integrated hardwired TCP/IP core supporting up to 8 sockets with 32 KB dedicated to socket buffers.
    • Supports protocols including TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, IGMP, and PPPoE.
    • Embedded Ethernet PHY (C+ IP101G).
  • Peripherals:
    • Timers: 1 watchdog timer, 4 general-purpose timers, and 8 PWM timers.
    • Communication Interfaces: 3 UARTs (two with FIFO and flow control, one simple UART), 2 SPIs, and 2 I2C interfaces (master/slave, fast-mode at 400 kbps).
    • ADC: 12-bit, 8-channel ADC with a sampling rate of 1 Msps.
    • DMA: 6-channel DMA controller supporting peripherals like UARTs and SPIs.
    • GPIO: 34 general-purpose I/O pins.
    • Crypto: Random Number Generator (RNG) for 32-bit random numbers.
  • Clock and Power Management:
    • Power-On Reset (POR) and internal voltage regulator (3.3V to 1.5V).
    • Supports external crystal oscillators ranging from 8 to 24 MHz and an internal 8 MHz RC oscillator.
    • Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) for CPU clock generation.
  • Package: Available in a 64-pin LQFP package measuring 7x7 mm.
  • Operating Conditions:
    • Voltage: 2.7V to 3.6V.
    • Temperature: 0°C to 70°C ambient temperature range.
