| Description | The TOP258PN is an integrated off-line switcher IC from the TOPSwitch-HX family designed for high-efficiency AC-DC power conversion applications. It integrates a high-voltage 700V power MOSFET, PWM controller, and protection circuitry in a single package, enabling compact flyback power supply designs. The device supports output power up to approximately 48W (up to ~77W depending on configuration) and operates with a switching frequency typically around 66 kHz to 132 kHz. It features a maximum duty cycle of about 78% and delivers output current up to ~6.88A. The IC operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and includes built-in protections such as over-voltage, over-temperature, and current limiting. Designed for isolated and non-isolated power supplies, it is ideal for SMPS, adapters, industrial power systems, and consumer electronics. |
