| Description | The AH3523Q-SA-7 is an automotive-grade omnipolar Hall effect switch designed for non-contact position and proximity sensing applications. It operates over a wide supply voltage range of 3.0V to 28V and features low supply current typically up to 3 mA, with an open-drain output capable of sinking up to 30 mA . The device detects both north and south magnetic poles with operate and release thresholds around ±4.5 mT and ±0.5 mT respectively, ensuring high sensitivity and reliable switching performance . It incorporates chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator for improved temperature stability and minimal offset drift, along with built-in protection features such as reverse polarity protection, overcurrent limiting, and Zener clamps . The sensor operates across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and provides fast response time in the microsecond range, making it suitable for high-speed detection. Packaged in SOT-23-3, it is ideal for automotive systems, contactless switches, door and seat position detection, and industrial sensing applications. |
