| Description | The PT3602A-LH-K is a compact and reliable bipolar Hall-effect latch sensor developed by Prolific Technology Inc., designed for magnetic field detection and switching applications in embedded and industrial systems. It operates by detecting alternating magnetic polarity and toggling its output state accordingly. This device supports a wide operating voltage range of 2.5V to 18V, making it suitable for low-voltage electronics as well as general-purpose industrial applications. It provides stable operation with a typical supply current of around 6–8 mA and supports output current up to approximately 25 mA. The PT3602A-LH-K integrates dynamic offset cancellation and internal signal conditioning, ensuring accurate magnetic sensing with low thermal drift. It features built-in hysteresis with typical operate and release points around ±30 Gauss, enabling noise immunity and stable switching performance. The device includes an internal pull-up resistor output structure, simplifying circuit design and allowing direct interface with microcontrollers and digital logic circuits. Its bipolar latch behavior ensures consistent ON/OFF switching when exposed to north and south magnetic poles. Packaged in a space-saving SOT-23-3 surface-mount package, the PT3602A-LH-K is optimized for compact PCB layouts and automated assembly processes.
