Description ​The TSS521D is a single-chip transceiver developed by Texas Instruments for Meter-Bus (M-Bus) standard applications, specifically designed for slave devices in metering systems. It operates with a supply voltage ranging from 3.1 V to 3.4 V and features a receiver with dynamic level recognition, ensuring reliable data communication. The transmitter offers a programmable constant-current sink, adjustable via an external resistor, providing flexibility in data transmission characteristics. Additionally, the TSS521D includes a 3.3-V voltage regulator with a power-fail function, facilitating seamless transitions between bus and battery power sources. The device is housed in a 16-pin SOIC package and operates over a temperature range of -25°C to 85°C, making it suitable for various metering applications. ​
