| Description | The LM339DT is a quad differential comparator IC designed for low-power analog signal comparison in a wide range of applications. It operates over a broad supply voltage range from 2V to 36V (single supply) or ±1V to ±18V (dual supply), with low supply current typically around 0.8 mA for all four comparators. The device features open-collector outputs capable of sinking up to 16 mA, allowing flexible interfacing with various logic levels. It offers input offset voltage typically around 2 mV, input bias current of approximately 25 nA, and propagation delay around 1.3 µs, enabling reliable and reasonably fast switching performance. The comparator supports input common-mode voltage range including ground, making it suitable for single-supply operation. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C, and the SOIC-14 package enables compact PCB design. It is widely used in level detection, zero-crossing detection, voltage monitoring, oscillators, and general-purpose analog comparison applications. |
