| Description | The EG25GGC-MINIPCIE is a high-performance LTE Category 4 Mini PCIe cellular communication module from Quectel, specifically designed for industrial Internet of Things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M), transportation, networking, remote monitoring, and embedded communication systems. Built in the industry-standard Mini PCI Express form factor, it allows rapid integration into industrial routers, gateways, embedded computers, and networking equipment while providing reliable worldwide cellular connectivity. It supports LTE Cat 4 data rates of up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. The module is fully backward compatible with UMTS/HSPA+ and GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks, ensuring continuous communication even in areas where LTE coverage is unavailable. The EG25-GGC regional variant is optimized for deployment across global LTE networks, making it suitable for internationally deployed industrial products. Integrated multi-constellation GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou (BDS), Galileo, and QZSS, enabling accurate positioning, navigation, and timing without requiring an external GNSS receiver. This integration reduces PCB complexity, minimizes BOM cost, and simplifies the development of tracking, telematics, fleet management, and navigation-enabled products. The EG25GGC-MINIPCIE provides a comprehensive set of interfaces including USB 2.0 High-Speed, UART, I²C, PCM digital audio, USIM interface, network status indication, RF disable control, hardware reset, and dedicated LTE diversity and GNSS antenna connectors. It also supports a rich protocol stack including TCP/IP, UDP, PPP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, MQTT, SMTP, SSL/TLS, NTP, DFOTA, and Quectel enhanced AT commands, allowing rapid integration into cloud-connected embedded systems. Operating from a 3.0V to 3.6V supply voltage (3.3V typical), the module is optimized for low power consumption while maintaining excellent RF performance. The standard 51.0 × 30.0 × 4.9 mm Mini PCIe form factor supports direct installation into compatible Mini PCIe sockets, while the extended operating temperature range of up to -40°C to +80°C makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments. The module is supported by Windows, Linux, and Android USB drivers and is compatible with industrial computers, ARM-based embedded systems, networking equipment, and custom hardware platforms. Support for LTE MIMO technology improves data throughput and communication reliability, making the module suitable for broadband IoT applications.
