| Description | The TPS54060DGQR is a highly efficient step-down (buck) DC-DC switching regulator developed by Texas Instruments, designed for wide input voltage power conversion in industrial and embedded systems. It integrates a high-side MOSFET, enabling compact and simplified power supply designs. The device operates over a wide input voltage range of 3.5V to 60V, making it suitable for applications powered from industrial rails such as 12V, 24V, and 48V systems. It delivers up to 0.5A output current, supporting low-to-medium power loads. The TPS54060DGQR features an adjustable output voltage starting from 0.8V, allowing flexible regulation for various system requirements. It uses current-mode control architecture, providing fast transient response and simplified loop compensation. It supports a wide switching frequency range from 100kHz to 2.5MHz, enabling designers to optimize between efficiency and component size. The device also includes Eco-Mode™ operation, which improves efficiency at light loads by reducing switching losses.
